Ben Abounassif (born 1964, Caracas, Venezuela) is a Venezuelan artist of Lebanese descent known for his dynamic exploration of geometric abstraction and optical visual effects. Rooted in a visual language that balances form, structure, and perception, Abounassif’s work investigates the interplay between geometry, light, and material presence, creating compositions that invite reflection on rhythm, spatial tension, and visual experience
He graduated from Tennessee Tech University in 1987 with a B.A. in Business Management and later transitioned into the art world.
Abounassif’s work is characterized by a refined use of resin, metal, acrylic, and paper, combining geometric precision with optical dynamism. His geometric series have been shown at major art fairs such as Art Miami, Zona Maco, Art Dubai, Contemporary Istanbul and many others. His works on paper and sculptural compositions have gained strong collector interest, especially in Venezuela and internationally.
