Laura Boushnak is a Palestinian photographer born in Kuwait. Her work ranges from conflict photography to experimental storytelling. Her themes are as diverse: Arab women, education, the underground gay scene in Beirut.

Boushnak’s documentary project “I read I write” explores the role of literacy in improving the lives of Arab women, and the barriers they face when accessing education.

Laura Boushnak est une photographe palestinienne née au Kuwait. L’étendu de son travail va du reportage photographique de guerre aux récits expérimentaux et les thèmes abordés sont aussi divers que les femmes arabes  ou la scène gay underground a Beyrouth.

Le projet documentaire de Boushnak “I read I write” explore le role de l’alphabétisation dans l’amélioration de la vie des femmes, et les barrières auxquelles elles doivent faire face pour accéder à l’éducation.
